Nine burger places at 11 locations inside Lakeland city limits: downtown by Lake Mirror, Lakeside Village, South Florida Avenue and U.S. 98 North.

Last checked Oct. 10, 2026. Refreshed every three months.

Lakeland’s burger places sit in three clusters: downtown around Lake Mirror and Munn Park, South Florida Avenue with Lakeside Village just west of it, and U.S. Highway 98 North near Interstate 4 and Lakeland Park Center. Burger places with Lakeland mailing addresses south of Lake Miriam and north of the city line are outside the limits and are not on this list.

How we made this list. We started with OpenStreetMap records inside Lakeland’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, and added burger places from the state’s restaurant inspection records, the chains’ own store pages and the restaurants’ own sites, keeping only addresses inside the limits. We checked each place against its own website on Oct. 10, 2026. Two places with no website or store page we could find are here because the state inspected them in August and September 2026. We left out the drive-through chains McDonald’s, Burger King, Wendy’s, Checkers and Krystal, which have 21 locations inside the city in the state’s records; their own locators list every one. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places? Write to us to add or correct your entry.
