Midtown is the band of older neighborhoods between downtown and Interstate 4, from Lake Bonnet and Kathleen Road on the west to Lake Parker on the east. It is one of the city’s redevelopment areas: the comprehensive plan names Midtown with downtown and Dixieland as the places where public investment in redevelopment has been concentrated. All of it is inside city limits.
