Started in 2004, the market sells local, handmade and homegrown goods: produce, plants, artisan gifts, pastries, breads and specialty foods, the LDDA says. Live music plays most Saturdays; the LDDA’s rules require performers to play an instrument, as background for shopping, not a concert. The market has launched several downtown businesses over the years, LkldNow has reported.

Parking: free all day on weekends in city-owned lots, garages and street spaces. The LDDA recommends the Oak Street lot at Oak Street and Kentucky Avenue, the Main Street garage (entrance on Main Street) and the Heritage Plaza garage.

Weather: the market is outdoors and has been canceled for high wind, heavy rain and severe storms. Text CURB to 863-999-0030 to get notices.

SNAP and Fresh Access Bucks

The Curb Market is listed as an authorized SNAP retailer in the USDA’s retailer data, so EBT cards can be used there. Its Fresh Access Bucks matching program is paused; the LDDA posts a customer FAQ on its SNAP page.

Other markets in and around Lakeland

Dates are posted at heritageharvestmarket.com.
  • Market at the Ballpark: the LDDA has twice brought Curb Market vendors to Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium during Lakeland Flying Tigers games, in May and August 2026. A game ticket was required. Watch the LDDA’s calendar for the next one.
