Father’s Day 2027 is Sunday, June 20. Lakeland’s dad-friendly standbys are a monthly car meet at Bonnet Springs Park, minor league baseball at the Tigers’ ballpark, Sunday brunch downtown and the aircraft at Lakeland Linder. No 2027 Father’s Day events had been announced as of Oct. 9; we will add them as organizers post them.

Cars

Cars & Coffee at Bonnet Springs Park runs on the first Saturday of every month from 7 to 10 a.m. in the parking lot across from the Welcome Center, 400 Bonnet Springs Blvd. Exotic, classic, luxury, hot rod and import cars are all welcome, no registration is needed to show a car, and coffee and breakfast are sold on site, the park says. In June 2027 that is Saturday, June 5, two weeks before Father’s Day.

Baseball

The Lakeland Flying Tigers, the Detroit Tigers’ Single-A affiliate, play at Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium. In 2026 the club ran promotions including a ticketed Sunday brunch spread in the ballpark’s ‘34 Club every Sunday, Family Fun Fridays and fireworks after selected Saturday games, Visit Central Florida listed. Check the team’s 2027 schedule for a Father’s Day home game.
